Soon Nicole’s innocent beauty, taunts a sinister man, and she is caught in a web of deception and danger. Someone evil is stalking her. Someone she had trusted. Will she be saved? Or will she be hunted?
Review: “Wow - what an amazing job Tiffany has done. There wasn't a moment that I wasn't engaged with the characters or the plot. The build up of mystery and tension in this suspenseful romantic novel is superbly done. I found myself constantly holding my breath and nervously listening for creaks in the house. There were some beautifully crafted romantic moments that had me swooning for Dylan, and several moments when I shed a tear. Stunning! The novel flowed very well, effectively creating a good balance of suspense, character interaction and the lovely romance. The ending. Oh my! Tiffany, what an ending you have created. I have no idea what to expect for book two, Obsession and Sacrifice, other than I can not wait to read it. And no doubt it will be as wonderful as The Impostor.” -Becky Johnson, Bex and Books

Obsession and Sacrifice is the SECOND novel in a Suspenseful Romantic series about unexpected love and a woman’s fight for survival. It is a series of growth, acceptance and having the perseverance to begin again.
When Nicole wakes up in the hospital, she has no memory of who she is or how she got there. Only the scars on her body reveal some horrific event took place and she is lucky to be alive…alive…but could she still be in danger?
Her only hope to rediscover her past and avoid a killer's obsession lies in the hands of two men: sexy Dylan, her boyfriend, who used to captivate her, and Bradley, her charming best friend, who has secretly loved her all along. She feels safe around both men but to her, they are strangers. Nicole must decide who to trust, not only with her heart, but with her life.
The two men vow to give her a second chance at life and both will sacrifice everything to make sure she survives.
Review:
Excellent! - Obsession & Sacrifice is here & it did not disappoint! The second of the trilogy gives you a tiny re-cap of the last chapter from the ‘The Impostor’ & sets the atmosphere ready for the roller-coaster of a read that awaits you! Once again the authors’ descriptive writing connects you right at the heart of the outstanding romance, intrigue, suspense & action. Yet again, Tiffany has written another book that I just couldn’t put down. There are so many different aspects to this book & the author has succeeded in making every chapter progress & flow at an exhilarating pace. Overall it’s a 10/10 from me & I’m here pacing the floor again, ready for the book. –Nichole Walsh

Blog tour and GIVEAWAY: Invisible- Cecily Paterson

Summary: Jazmine Crawford doesn’t make decisions. She doesn’t make choices. She doesn’t make friends. Jazmine Crawford only wants one thing: to be invisible.

For Jazmine, it’s a lot easier to take out her hearing aid and drift along in life pretending that nothing’s wrong than it is to admit that she’s heartbroken about her dad dying. She’s been drifting and ignoring her over-worried mum for four years now. But something’s got to give – and soon.

When bad girl Shalini and her mates adopt Jazmine, she follows along without thinking but quickly finds herself part of their plan to vandalise the drama classroom. Jazmine manages to save the key prop, a jewelled headdress, before drama teacher Miss Fraser walks in to find a room full of destruction. Later, sitting in disgrace in the principal’s office, Jazmine is offered a choice: become a ‘runner’ for Miss Fraser in the upcoming production of The Secret Garden or face a three week suspension and a permanent mark on her record.

It’s Miss Fraser who clinches the decision. “I believe in you Jazmine,” she says. “I know you can do this.” And Jazmine, terrified, disbelieving and elated all at the same time, joins the play and leaves her invisible life behind.

For a while it’s all good. Writing in the new journal that Miss Fraser gives her connects her to the memories she has of her father. Drama star and chocolate lover Liam is friendly and Jazmine realises that making friends, talking to her mother and feeling her emotions isn’t as scary as she thought. In the play, Jazmine becomes the prompter and a stand in and discovers to her amazement that she loves the stage and has a natural talent for acting. In a final happy twist of fate, acting diva Angela breaks both her ankles and with only a week before the curtain goes up, Miss Fraser asks Jazmine to take on the main role of Mary.

But it’s not quite as good as it seems. Jazmine is still fearful and doesn’t want to give too much away.  She can’t quite believe that Liam likes her, and is worried that if people knew what she was really like, they wouldn’t want to be her friend.

But then Shalini returns from her suspension. In her mind, she has been betrayed. She’s out for payback, and she expects that Jazmine is going to do what she’s told, or else she just might expose her greatest secret...

Review: I received this book free from the author in exchange for an honest review.

I am in love with this cover! It is so beautiful. Definitely draws the reader in. I really enjoyed this story. I like how it was something new because the main character was hearing impaired. I liked the storyline. I feel this book dealt with some pretty heavy topics like suicide and bullying. You would think with topics like this that the book would be depressing but it wasn't. Also it ended on a happy note which I am happy about because Jazmine deserved it. I did find the plot to be a little slow, but otherwise a great read.
I felt like Jazmine was a tough cookie to crack. She had never asked for any details about her fathers death . Because of this she never had really let it go or had the chance. She had all of these bottled up emotions that needed to come out sooner or later and eventually they did and it benefitted Jazmine greatly. I'm glad she got over the need to feel invisible. I also enjoyed Gabby and Liam. They both seem like really nice down to earth people.
This was a really great read. I would recommend this book to contemporary lovers and those who love an underdog. I would most likely read another book by Cecily Paterson.

Bio: Cecily Anne Paterson is what they call a TCK, or a third culture kid, which basically means she grew up overseas and has some weird issues. Now she’s a mostly normal Australian living in a small town in New South Wales, although her four children don’t wouldn’t necessarily agree with the mostly normal bit. She’s been an editor, a communications officer, an ESL teacher and now a writer. Her ambition is to write two young adult books a year for the next ten years.

Cover Reveal: Who He Is- S.Q. Williams

*Title: Who He Is
*Author: Shanora Williams writing as S.Q. Williams
*Release Date: July 18th, 2013
*Cover Designer: Regina Wamba of Mae I Design

*Synopsis:*

Eliza Smith has never been the one to seek a relationship. She’s never dated a guy in her life, never even hugged a man (outside of her father/manager of the hot and popular rock band, FireNine) but when she decides to spend her summer on tour with FireNine, it all changes. Eliza really gets to meet Gage Grendel - her former crush from high school and the lead singer of FireNine - and witness sides to him to which she’ll begin to truly despise.

She’ll ignore him, she’ll dislike his ways, she’ll do anything to try and stay away from him until Gage finally gets her to slip up and give in. She agrees on a casual fling with Gage, but soon they’ll both see how the fling will blur into something they can’t control and when it’s finally time for Eliza to go and accomplish her own dreams, she’ll know there’s more she took from Gage than she ever thought possible.

*Excerpt:*

Lifting his hands, Gage gripped the edge of the pool and pressed his
arousal against me. When he was done tasting my neck, he devoured my lips,
and I couldn’t help it; I wrapped my arms around his neck. My legs squeezed
tighter around him, wanting to feel his hardness against me. It was turning
me on in more ways than one. His silky tongue, although laced with alcohol,
tasted sweet as it ran over mine.

He started to rub against me and I moaned, running my fingers through his
slick hair. His hard chest was pressed firmly against mine, no space
between us. The little nibbles and bites he took of my lower lip were
driving me insane. His fingers that snuck beneath my bathing suit to slide
inside me caused my moans to grow louder and his lips to fall so he could
grunt against my neck.

I was spiraling, bucking against him once again. “You like that?” he
whispered gruffly in my ear. He reached behind me with his other hand and
unhooked the top of my bathing suit. I could have stopped him, but I
didn’t. A growl came from his throat as he stared at my bare chest.

I nodded my head at his question, my body begging him to continue. Who knew
his fingers could be so magical? He was pushing in and out of me, circling
his thumb across my core. I was so close. My fingernails bit into his skin
and he went faster, faster, faster, sending me higher and higher… but then
he just stopped. Right when I was about to reach the point of it all.

“What the hell are you doing?” I breathed raggedly, aggravated.

He smirked, looking into my eyes and pulling his fingers out of my bottoms.
I wanted to beg for his fingers not to leave, but I didn’t. It would have
been too embarrassing and shallow. “Since we’re only ‘friends,’ I can’t
give you the full effect.”

I scowled at him. “You’re kidding.” He raised an eyebrow. “Right?

“No, Ellie. Let’s just do this shit. I swear it’ll be fun.”

“What do you mean?” I asked, but I knew exactly what he was talking about.

“Nothing between us has to change. It doesn’t have to be serious and I
think if we try to continue this little war, someone’s gonna get hurt. Why
not just give in to the temptation? We can still be friends, but maybe we
can involve the bed and handcuffs I brought up to before at the club?”

He gave a lazy smirk and I snickered. I thought it over, replaying the
conversation Montana and I had just moments ago, knowing he was right. I
wanted to do more things with Gage than I thought, and with him giving me
an orgasm the night before, I was desperate and in need of more. It was
bad, but it felt good to be satisfied—to reach the point of bliss and not
come down for hours. I didn’t want anyone else in the band to try and give

me that kind of satisfaction. Gage was my best bet, so I shrugged and
thought to myself, *Fuck it.* Montana was right. I had to take risks and I
was going to be taking a big one with Gage Grendel.

“Okay,” I said right before kissing him and allowing him to finish what he
started.

Blog Tour and Review: Sweet Oblivion- Bailey Ardisone

Summary: sweet adjective ˈswēt a : pleasing to the mind or feelings
obliv·i·on noun ə-ˈbli-vē-ən, ō-, ä- 1: the fact or condition of forgetting or having forgotten

Have you ever wanted to forget? Nariella Woodlinn has. Many times. Especially when her already frustrating life gets turned upside down by a mysterious boy who randomly shows up in her small town and she can’t seem to understand anything about him, despite how much she tries.
Nari hates everything about her life except for her best friend Rydan, but now that they’ve been separated during their senior year of high school, she has to learn to make new friends without him. When strange unexplainable phenomena start becoming an every day part of her life, Nari struggles to come to grips with reality. And with love.

Naminé has responsibilities. Duties. It is her obligation to fulfill all that is asked of her by their King. But when a glimmer of hope is introduced to her by a prisoner she tends to and it means life or death for her and her people, she does all that she can to turn that hope into reality and finally end the vicious war that has been ensuing since she was born. Even if that means keeping it secret from her King. Even if it means carrying out the biggest betrayal against the King ever seen during her time.

She has hope. She will fulfill her duty. She will not let her people down.

Some secrets are best kept in Oblivion.

Review: I received this book free from the author in exchange for an honest review.

Honestly, if I would have seen this book on the shelf I wouldn't have picked it up. I don't really like this cover and I don't really think it fits the story at all. I would have preferred just a willow tree on the cover. I did find the plot somewhat predictable. I knew as soon as Mycah was introduced that he was not human. But I was shocked about the rest of the story. Although I found it a bit confusing, I
did enjoy the back and forth between the two characters (I know this is bad but I can't remember the
characters names because they were too much alike). I'm hoping in book two everything will come
together and help make everything make sense.
I felt like this book consisted of a few very strong characters. Most of them were very set in their ways and don't like being imposed on by "new characters". There as that one rather large jaw dropping shocker that I was not expecting. Now I just need the background either to as why Ryland couldn't remember or chose not to remember. That's all I can say about that so I don't ruin the surprise. Also I want to know what the big secret is. I can kind of guess but I want to know if I am correct.
Besides a few hiccups, this book was quite enjoyable and I look forward to book two. I would recommend this book to fantasy readers.

Bailey:
Imagination has always been a big part of my life. With it, we can create anything. It fuels our dreams, desires, and helps us through our journey called life. I am 31 years old and have forever been obsessed with ‘living’ in books. My grandmother and I have always shared the passion of written words. We’ve written poetry, short stories, even greeting cards. She shared with me her love of literature and because of this she inspires everything I write today. I grew up in a small town outside Chicago, IL, with my family, but currently reside in Florida with my husband of ten years. We love going to the beach, and enjoy spending time with friends and family. I love getting lost in movies, books, art. Fantasy is my favorite genre, it allows me to escape the real world and explore the unknown. I have a deep love of music and am a huge football fan. One of the biggest things I would like to do in my life is to travel. I yearn to expand my horizons and travel the outside world. Hopefully someday! I have fantasized about becoming an author and writing a novel for years. I wrote my first short story at a very young age, and though it was terrible when I read it years later, I have been writing ever since. Because I have always loved every minute of it, I see myself writing for the rest of my life. One of my most favorite things to do is curl up with a good book and lose myself in the world the author has created. There is no better feeling then getting lost in one's imagination.

Ardisone:
I am a brand new just out of the wrapping Indie writer. I never once thought of myself as a writer growing up, although I must admit I always loved the idea of it. I just never thought I could. I have always been a dreamer and had an overactive imagination though, and instead of playing with my typical toys that my parents bought me from the store, I had the most fun pretending their belts/bracelets were dinosaurs or a box of bandaids I'd find in the bathroom were my new pet snakes. Once I grew out of toys, I was more interested in drawing, watching Japanese Anime, and reading Manga. I still to this day do those things of course, but now that I have discovered my love of writing I've realized how much I want to keep doing it. It all started with my love of diving into a book and going on an adventure with the many characters I met on the way. I mean really, who doesn't love a good book? With the help of my husband of 7 years, who kept pushing me to try writing, I decided I wanted to take some of the ideas that had been floating around my head and put them on paper. And voila! After many discussions with my sister, not to mention many all-nighters writing, we finally created something of our own. I also love animals and could not live without music. My outlook on life is to be yourself and those around you can either take it or leave it. Just a few other things I am forever obsessed with are - traveling, different cultures, giant rocky mountains and castles, anything in miniature form, my home city of Chicago, sour skittles, and sleeping/naps is my vice.

Excerpt

When the weight of Gard’s heavy hands lifts from the crown of my head, I look up and the war leader nods. I stand to cheers and thunder from stomping feet, stride toward the stables, invincible, where a horse is being led toward me.

With a sleek, black hide, long, black mane, and fierce brown eyes, she’s everything I always imagined she would be. Stamping her feet, pulling at the ropes, snorting heavy plumes of breath out of her flaring nostrils, she’s unbroken.

It takes four strong men, Riders, to control her, and even then, she’s uncontrollable. Wild. Hungry. Mine.

As I approach, I notice a mar on the complete darkness of her coloring: A single patch of white sits high on her nose, almost between her ears, shaped like a butterfly. White wings.

Can she fly?

I’m still admiring her wild and untamed perfection, wondering where she was found, how hard it was for the Horse Whisperers to lure her close enough to capture her, whether she put up a fight, when one of the ropes are thrust into my hands.

Thankfully, I have enough sense to grab it firmly, to hold on, to remember the words my mother taught me, let them flow freely through my mind. I am yours, you are mine, we are one. A warrior and a steed become a Rider. Fight with me even as I fight with you. Separate, our strength is breakable, matched by many; combined, our power is above all, unstoppable.

The words roll over and over in my mind as I take the second rope, walking my hands up the thick strands, feeling them burn my palms as the horse bucks and strains against the bonds that are so foreign to a creature that has known only complete freedom while roaming wild on the plains.

Freedom is an illusion. I’m surprised to hear my father’s words in my head while I’m so focused on approaching my horse. I shake my head and resume my chant, this time out loud, first as a whisper and then louder and louder as I get closer and closer. The horse isn’t calmed by my words, but I know she hears them, because she’s completely focused on me now, and I’m oblivious to the ceremony that continues behind me.

Passion. The name occurs to me just like my mother said it would, right when one of the Riders are thrown down when the horse charges sharply to one side.
“Passion,” I say, and she stands perfectly still, matching the intensity of my gaze. “Sadie.” She snorts, as if my name is but a cricket under the stomp of her grand feet. And so it is.

I shouldn’t be this close, not at the first meeting. My mother told me, but it takes Passion to teach me.

She seems calm since I spoke her name. Her head even bows a little, and my mother said a wild horse will never do that. Already, our bond is special.
I reach forward to rub the white butterfly on her nose.

Her drooping eyes suddenly flash with anger and her head bucks as she leaps forward, butting me, throwing me backward, nearly stomping on my leg as I skid across the grass.

Passion.

But I can't stop thinking about her either.
She looks like an angel and plays like a devil.
If I could, I'd f*ck her good and forget all about her, but to tell
you the truth, I think this woman might be my last saving grace."

UNEDITED TEASER!

I'm looking down, so I'm not paying attention to where I'm going.
Doesn't matter anyway. When people see me coming, they get out of my
way.
?Hey!? a girl shouts as our shoulders slam together and my cigarette
topples out of my mouth. ?Watch where you're fucking going!? A
crumpled ball of leather slams into my chest before I get the chance
to process that the chick standing in front of me is the girl from the
bus last night, the one on the couch. Holy fuck me. She looks even
better in the daylight. She's tall, fucking got legs for days, and her
tits are practically falling out the top of an asymmetrical tee that's
cut up and hanging in long strips over her bare belly. Skin like
porcelain, orange-brown eyes that bite, and swollen lips. Hell to the
fuck yeah. She's exactly my type. My irritation at having her bump
into me dissipates right away, and I switch on the charm.
?Hey, baby, do I know you from somewhere?? I shake out the crumpled
leather as she scowls at me and realize with a start that it's
actually my jacket. Must've left it on her bus last night. I wonder if
we fucked. If we did, then it's a memory I'm sad to forget.
?Yeah, last night when I cleaned your puke off my carpet and pulled
your dick out of my friend. Hey, next time you decide to screw a drunk
chick, make sure she's sober enough to remember her own name. Can you
do that for me, Turner?? I lick my lips and shake out the jacket,
tossing it over my shoulder with a scowl of my own. Hot as this chick
is, nobody talks to me like that. If I've ever fought for anything in
my life, it's the right to be respected. Even a tight body and a
dangerous scowl can't change that.
?Hey, if I touched your friend, it's because she wanted me to.? I snap
my fingers and lean in close. ?Oh yeah, and it's none of your damn
business.? Hands come out quick and hit my chest, knocking me back a
step. Mostly from surprise. She isn't as tough as she thinks.
?Next time you pass out on my bus, I take payment from you in the form
of diseased body parts.? She waves her hand at my dick and then she
tries to turn away. My fingers on her shoulder spin her around and
this time, she hits me right in the face.
?You fucking bitch,? I snarl as she stands her ground and stares me
down. ?I could have you kicked off the tour for that shit. Or thrown
in jail. Who the hell do you think you are?? The woman raises her chin
and takes a deep breath while the wind teases her auburn hair around
her soft face. She's acting fierce, but I can see right through her.
This chick is vulnerable, half ready to crack. Wonder if I could help
her along a little? Broken souls are my specialty.
?My name is Naomi Knox,? she says and then takes a step closer to me,
so close that the toes of our shoes touch and her breasts brush up
against my chest. Almost immediately, my cock springs to attention and
gets hard as a fucking rock, expanding along the length of my thigh
and pressing against the tight fabric of my jeans. Fuck that hurts.
Guess this my penance for wearing girls' pants. ?And I'm not afraid of
you, Turner Campbell, so fuck off.?
She spins on her heel and smacks me across the cheek with her hair. As
she moves away, I see something in her face. I don't know what it is,
but it triggers something else in me. I know I've met this girl
before, and I'm not going to rest until I figure out where.
