Review: I received this book free from the author in a Read 2 review challenge, in exchange for an honest review.
I LOVED THIS BOOK! It was amazing. It was new age, but easy to read and connect like a YA. I reminded me of Hex hall by Rachel Hawkins because it was in a "school setting" with a bunch of different paranormal groups. But it was also like Kelley Armstrong's Darkest Power series, where the characters were "being held captive" then " escaping their enemy".
20 year old Logan Gates was disowned by his parents after an accident ends up killing his younger sister. 2 years later, Logan get fired from his job setting everything in motion. Logan then needs to find a new job and opportunity comes a knocking when Logan reads a newspapers want column for free room and board with the job. Logan suspects something fishing but pushes that thought to the back of his mind because he is desperate. At his new place of work, Logan discovers that paranormal beings are not just fantasy. We follow Logan as her learns more about paranormals and where he fits in. Also we meet Penny, a 16 yer old girl who was adopted by Logan's new boss because of her physic abilities. Penny fits right in with the other paranormals.
We go along for the ride as these two and e rest of there friends discover the truth about themselves. The mysteries and secrets are intense and drove me to read faster. The book kept me entertained with the witty humour thought the book. It's a quick read because of the high level of entertainment. I honestly don't know if I can't wait for the next book, the cliff- hanger ending was that intense!!! You need to pick this book up, it was freaking amazing!!!!
