Review: I received this book free from the author in exchange for an honest review.
This was a quick and entertaining read. I liked the twists and turns that the author was throwing our way. I also enjoyed the mystery aspects included. There was also romantic parts that held my interest. I just didn't find parts of the story realistic. I'm not saying that stuff wouldn't happen but I just found it very unlikely. Also some of the characters didn't jive with me.
Charli, Charli, Charli. I had a hard time liking her. I think that if someone is a virgin they wouldn't all of a sudden turn into a giant slut and have meaningless sex with any guy that would talk to them. Also she was very naive. She was like that girl in a horror movie who goes off by herself when there is a serial killer on the lose and dies. Like she was all like I have this really bad feeling about this guy, stuff isn't clicking but I'll just go off with him to a remote locations and hopefully he doesn't rape or kill me. I wanted to smack her head and ask what the hell she was thinking. Also her parents are the biggest a- holes ever!! Like way to set your child up for failure. Really the only characters I liked were Nathan, because he was the dreamy good guy, Rochelle and whatever Nathan's partners name was.
Overall, this was a good read I just couldn't connect to the chapters or invest myself 100% into the story?I would recommend it to those who enjoy quicks no steamy reads with some mystery involved.
