Review #139: The Vampire Hunter's Daughter Part 5- Jennifer Malone Wright

Summary: In the fifth installment of The Vampire Hunter’s Daughter, Chloe has been forced to make her decision to leave the community earlier than anticipated. To keep her family safe, she leaves with the vampire Trevor, who she had previously discovered was her father and the man responsible for her mother’s murder. Chloe is now in an entirely new element. She is not surrounded by vampire hunters anymore, but living with one of those which vampire hunters strive to kill. Living with Trevor, Chloe’s only human contact is the housekeeper and the tutor Trevor hired to teach her.

After nearly a year of being a prisoner in Trevor's home, Chloe begins to believe it may not be so bad. That is, until she discovers Trevor’s true intentions for her, the terrible plan he put into motion before she was even born.
Title: The Vampire Hunter's Daughter Part 5
Author: Jennifer Malone Wright
Pages: 56
Rating: 5/5 Stars
Review: I received this book free from the author in exchange for an honest review.
Part 5 is my favourite edition to The Vampire Hunter's Daughter series to date! I just felt overall, more excitement with this book because Chole is right in the "dragon's den" and it's intense. I'm glad that we finally get to learn more about Chloe's dad Trevor. I loved hearing his background story of how he became a vampire but I can't believe what a diabolical asshole he is. He definitely won't be winning father of the year anytime soon lol. I also loved the introduction of new characters and I can't wait to find out if they can be trusted or not. Jennifer Malone Wright has done it again. She has given shocks and surprises in the least amount of pages that she can and leaves the reader begging for more.
Another five start read from this talented author. With each book the story gets better and better. With an ending like that I can't wait to scoop up book six. I would recommend this book to vampire and YA lovers. And anyone else who enjoys a great series.

About this author

Jennifer Malone Wright is best known for her short story series, The Vampire Hunter’s Daughter. Other works include the follow up to The Vampire Hunter’s Daughter series called The Arcadia Falls Chronicles and her vampire novel called The Birth of Jaiden. Jennifer also co-authors a series called Once Upon A Zombie Apocalypse as well as another project which hasn’t been announced yet.

She resides in the beautiful mountains of northern Idaho with her husband and five children where she practices preparing for the zombie apocalypse. Just kidding!

But seriously, between the craziness of taking care of her children, Jennifer has little time left for herself. The time she does have left, usually leading far into the night, is spent working on her beloved fiction or chatting with her equally crazy friends.

Jennifer also loves coffee, has a passionate affair with red bull, wishes the sushi were better where she lives and dances while she cleans.
