Title: Pulse
Author: HJ Daly
Pages: 310
Rating: 3/5 Stars
Review: I received this book for free from the author in exchange for an honest review. This is the debut novel bu HJ Daley, and I can't lie, I had a really hard time with it. Also I'm finding it hard to write this review. I found this book okay. When I was finished I wasn't moved by the book, I actually felt relieved that I had finished it at all. I found the book to be jumpy, which made it confusing for me. I would be reading and all of a sudden I thought I had missed pages but I hadn't. I also wanted to learn more about the Pulse but that information never came.
I found that there were way to many characters to keep track of. I couldn't relate to any of the characters, and I felt like I was missing out on their stories. I want to know more about them and how they came to be where they are now.
I probably won't be continuing with this series but maybe if the author writes a different one, I will give it a go. But I would still recommend this series to fantasy lovers.
